About Us
Beverley Steel Fabrication, manufacturer of the Hydra Boom, began from humble beginnings building sheds and providing concreting services to Beverley. Eddie and Annette Peart built the business from the ground up when they moved to Beverley in 1985 after having spent several years in WA as professional fox shooters.
Local farmer, David Adams, developed the original Hydra Boom in 1993, as he could not find a machine that would fulfil his needs. He wanted a machine that was operator friendly; with an easy tap layout and hydraulic lift and fold operated from the cab of the towing vehicle. This first machine was taken to the 1993 GWN Dowerin Field Days.
David approached Eddie Peart to build the Hydra Boom in 1994 with the first factory built machines attending the GWN Dowerin Field Days that year.
The Hydra Boom is continually being improved with farmer input while maintaining the basic philosophy that the machines are user friendly.
Beverley Steel Fabrication is a strong supporter of the rural community providing sponsorship to a variety of clubs, and sponsoring the fireworks at the Beverley Agricultural Show.
We also are strong believers in the training of the country youth with students from surrounding schools being placed with us for work experience. In addition we also have several trainees and apprentices at our factory in a wide variety of positions.
